Wild Horse Hot Springs is in Glacier Country located between Paradise and Hog Heaven on the Mother Dragon Artesian Geyser.  She delivers 1,200 gallons of hot water per minute to this "Moist Place" on the Little Bitterroot River.  The hot water from these natural mineral springs has been utilized by local tribes for more than 12,000 years.   Visitor's to Wild Horse Hot Springs enjoy a fresh Healing Waters experience - like no other resort in the world.

Recreation abounds all around Wild Horse Hot Springs - Enjoy alpine snow sports at Whitefish, Blacktail, Snowbowl, and Lookout Pass.  Book our local guides for scenic floats, snowcat skiing, lake and river fishing, snowshoeing and hiking, and horseback rides to name just a few.

Stay & Explore

Since 1911 (the year Wild Horse Hot Springs was discovered) visitors from all nations have come to experience these healing waters.  In 1946, known as the Roosevelt Center for Crippled Children at Camp Aqua a tradition was started by providing free plunges for crippled children which still stands today.

NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY  - Since 1911 - our legendary healing waters from Mother Dragon Artesian Geyser have been utilized in the health care and treatment of people from around the world.  Our plunges are cleaned and maintained daily, plus they are routinely inspected.

Spring - a beautiful time of year to visit with lush green fields.

Summer - incredibly long days give you plenty of time to golf, trek in Glacier Country and recover in our healing waters the same day.

Fall - cool nights and warm days coupled with hot plunges gets you through the harvest and hunting seasons.

Winter - before or after skiing or snowmobiling at Blacktail, Whitefish, Lookout Pass, or Snowbowl a fresh hot plunge is just what the doctor ordered
